Hello,

Currently I'm running kernel 2.4.18 on my linux box and the server hangs every couple of days (no new procs can be launched, old ok).

Checked alot of things and now the only way I see to solve it is kernel upgrade. Wanted to ask what's the last stable recommended kernel for this distro is and where can I download the whole rpm set.

Also any suggestions and tips are welcome :)

Thanx,
Alex.

Hi,

you can find all updates for RedHat 7.3
ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/updates/7.3/en/os/i386/

but you can always download and compile kernel from source: ftp://ftp.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.4/
the latest kernel version is 2.4.31

Yep, I'm aware of these links, but at the first link there are no kernel rpm's, and I prefer to install rpm and not compile.

Alex.
