    <description>Shalom Jeff,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the gui thers is a disk manager tool under system tools that should let you mount the cdrom.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There may be mount instructions in /etc/fstab that will let you run a manual mount as well.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is of course possible that the media itself has gone bad, but you can check this in another system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <title>redhat-config-packages  can't  find  cdrom</title>

      <description>I am trying to add the X Windows packages in RedHat AS3 using the redhat-config-packages.  It keeps prompting me for the CD but it never finds it.  Any ideas how to resolve this problem?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have the latest rpm.&lt;BR /&gt;redhat-config-packages-1.2.9.2-1</description>

      <description>Manually mount the cdrom before running redhat-config-packages or when prompt you for the CD. I don't remember if AS3 uses /mnt/cdrom or /media/cdrom.</description>

      <description>This works:&lt;BR /&gt;up2date "@X Window System" &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I believe there is an issue with the fact that I have RedHat AS3 update 4 installed.</description>
