      <description>Hi , &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have setup a squid proxy on Redhat linux 9 and have 4 squid instances running on it. When i try to bring up one particular instance , it comes up and gets offline immediately. When i checked the messages log, i found the below message &lt;BR /&gt;"Feb 21 10:32:22 CVR-PX-01 squid[32198]: Squid Parent: child process 32212 exited due to signal 25&lt;BR /&gt;Feb 21 10:32:22 CVR-PX-01 squid[32198]: Exiting due to repeated, frequent failures"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;experts require your help to resolve the same</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Make sure , that none of your files such as access.log, or cache.log &lt;BR /&gt;are too big (&amp;gt;2Gb). If so they need to be trimmed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Dinesh</description>

      <description>Hello, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check this out, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200206/0192.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200206/0192.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One of your log files has hit the maximum size supported by your OS (2GB).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Manually rotate the offending file to be able to start Squid, then set up log&lt;BR /&gt;rotation to ensure your logs is rotated often enought to not run into this&lt;BR /&gt;limit. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Arun</description>

      <description>Try to do as,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;./squid -k rotate&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;to rotate log files. Can you post the log file sizes here. May be your file system is FULL too. Check as,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# df -h&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;--&lt;BR /&gt;Muthu&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
