Hi all,

i need some helps.

I had a red hat Linux release 7.3 ,
I need to send mails from server and attach files ,

ex.
to : violin@gbm.com.tw
Subject : Test Mail
Attach File : /home/oracle/today.log , /home/oracle/today.txt

How could I do?

I guess you could use uuencode.

To send it in uuencoded form for a Unix user:

uuencode /home/oracle/today.log /home/oracle/today.txt | elm -s "Test Mail" violin@gbm.com.tw

To send it as a mime attachment to a PC user

mpack -s "Test Mail" -d /home/oracle/today.log /home/oracle/today.txt violin@gbm.com.tw
