      <description>Dear Gurus&lt;BR /&gt;I have installed rhl 4 ws, and suse 10, on a Lenovo  ThinkCenter M55e Desktop.&lt;BR /&gt;This machine has Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit ethernet card.&lt;BR /&gt;rhl 4, and suse 10, doesnt detect/installed the driver for ethernet card&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Plz help what should I do .&lt;BR /&gt;I have attached "hwinfo --network", "hwinfo --netcard" and "dmidecode" output file.&lt;BR /&gt;Regards&lt;BR /&gt;Maaz</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you'll find the driver package here:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&amp;amp;lndocid=MIGR-67073" target="_blank"&gt;http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&amp;amp;lndocid=MIGR-67073&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need to unpack it on windows though :-( , but it looks like the package contains a Linux driver too. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Jarle B.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What update you choose is critical.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;base RH or update 1 is likely to know nothing about this new NIC card. A later update should.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think what has really happened is that you've received a low end box that has no Linux support at all. The HP dc7700 comes to mind as another shining example.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Many makers, with the possible exception of Dell have ceased providing Linux support on their entry level desktop hardware, thereby raising the cost of ownerhip to Linux people.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its distrubring. Check with the vendor for new BIOS or firmware that supports Linux. If they say its unavailable, demand it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
