topic up2date log in ES30 in Operating System - Linux

All,

Before I update a package, I would like to capture the old package (version #).

Is there a log file that gets updated that says, this is ver1 before the up2date and after that says it is ver2.

I have check /var/log/up2date but it simply lists that I have executed successfully the up2date command.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
