Linux UP kernel not working

Hi,

I had dual processor machine, I am trying to install Linux Redhat Advance Server OS. It loads Linux SMP & UP (Uni processor) OS. Linux SMP os works fine but Linux UP os does not boots.
Is there is a known issues with Linux AS on dual CPU machine.

It depends on your configuration, if you run Hyperthreading for example. Can you describe your hardware ?
