How to kill a mail that's shown on mailq not delivered ?

I went into /var/spool/mquue and killed all.

Now when I sent, it shows as mailq output:

OAA29708 270179 Tue Dec 4 14:01 eis
(Deferred: Connection timed out with priszm.com.)
Chushia.Chen@priszm.com

OAA29780 (no control file)
OAA29827 (no control file)

No mail can be sent, how to fix this now ?

I stop/start the mail daemon and it's working now. It turned out the last time I started the server, the priszm.com was commented out .

I'll chekc the scripts and thanks a lot!

Hai,

you want to kill the mailq please type the command,

ps -A which shows all the process which are running.

kill -9 process id Spamd is the process to kill the mailq process.
