I have just taken delivery of some new Itanium rx2660's and I was wondering if I can install Fedora8 on one of them?

No. You can't, there is not fedora distribution for IA64 processors.

The only distros I see listed on Linux.org are RHEL, SLES, Debian, and Ubuntu.

It does seem that there was once an iso at download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/development/ia64/images , but it isn't there currently; you might want to check some of the mirrors to see if it can still be found somewhere.

I have found at IA64 Fedora iso, so I'm downloading it now and will attempt an install lalter today. If it does not work then I will try one of the offical versions of Linux!
