      <description>Anyone,&lt;BR /&gt;       I have a Red Hat 3.0 box and the root password was changed and no one knows what it is. I just recieved the server from another SA, and he does not know the password. Is there a way to null out the root password or another way to reset it?</description>

      <description>Some other Linux distributions require the root password to get a single-user shell, but Red Hat does not.</description>
