I second SEP's 'mondorescue' suggestion, it is quite a great tool. We use it in production here.

I know this is closed, but I personally do not recommend acronis. I did a trial of it last year and while the backup went well the restores were ridiculous. The boot cd was not using the correct drivers for my hba and it ended upp taking over 24 hours for a restore. I contacted acronis about this and they were not much help. I assumed that since they wanted to sell the product they would have helped me out. In the end I installed mondorescue and have been loving it ever since. It is super easy to create clones that can be used at DR, or just to restore a box back to a point in time.
