is there any particular settings about CPU speed on the server type below

HP said to change the speed in BIOS from C6 to C3 .

I am not sure why and wanted to understand .

Have you considered asking the person who
told you this ("HP") what he meant? Some of
us can't remember all the details of the
original conversation.

well as funny as it may sound , that came to our hardware tech team from HP SME and they do not tell you why / what or provide any justification, they just fixed the server that crashed apparently because of incorrect cpu speed and asked to reproduce solution on other assets also , period.
