    <description>&lt;P&gt;thx reply , I use the command badblocks to check ,there are some bad block found .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I checked my vendor , this bad block is come from the raid set , most likely not from the HD bad block .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;can advise if I use Raid 5&amp;nbsp; , how can I check the HD bad block ?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The 'badblocks' command can be used.&amp;nbsp; Note that modern drives have spare sectors which are used when bad sectors start developing - to see how many are used (via SMART) use the 'smartctl' command to query it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Goran&lt;/P&gt;</description>
