    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am running RH6.2 (kernel = 2.2.16-3smp) on an HP Visualize PL-Class workstation with an fx5 graphics board using: &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- hpgraphics-1.2.3-7&lt;BR /&gt;- XFree86-3.3.6-20&lt;BR /&gt;- KDE 1.1.2-6&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Every so often, (about once every day or two), closing a window in kde triggers a total reset of X, taking me back to logon and with the following logged to /var/log/messeges :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- mew kdm[873]: Server for display :0 terminated unexpectedly: 2816&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- mew kernel: [drm:drm_release] *ERROR* Process 15477 dead, freeing lock for context 1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;- mew PAM_pwdb[16137]: (kde) session closed for user xxxxxx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It doesn't seem to be related to any particular application.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any suggestions would be great.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Steve&lt;BR /&gt;Problems with KDE 1.1.xx are mostly related to the Dcopserver and memory addresses. This is a big problem in the early versions of KDE. If you can upgrade to at least KDE 2.0.xx, this problem sould go away. If unable to upgrade then check Redhat for patches.&lt;BR /&gt;Good Luck</description>
