    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;This mostly appears to be a Linux OS from what one could get when 'utmp' is searched on the internet:&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A target="_blank" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utmp"&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utmp&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;If there are no issues with the underlying HP ProLiant Server hardware, then it is best be addressed in a different discussion board.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Regards,&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Vijayasarathy &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>w and who command not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When am trying this w and who command am getting error as follows&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;by using root user&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;# w&lt;BR /&gt;No utmp database&lt;BR /&gt;: Connection refused&lt;BR /&gt;# who&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; No entries utmps database.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;# uptime&lt;BR /&gt;No utmp database&lt;BR /&gt;: Connection refused&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;but normal user is working fine all the commands&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;$ uptime&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;nbsp;11:47am&amp;nbsp; up 95 days, 15:34,&amp;nbsp; 3 users,&amp;nbsp; load average: 0.01, 0.01, 0.01&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
