I have seen the acyronym ICLE and ICE-linux

Can somebody tell me what the difference is ?

There is no difference as they are the same product. However, ICE-Linux is the proper way to refer to the product.

Well, actually, "Insight Control Linux Edition" is a stack based on HP Control Tower. The "Insight Control Environment for Linux" is a replacement for ICLE and is a stack based on HP Systems Insight Manager.

Sorry, you are correct and that is why the product shipped as ICE-Linux due to this confusion. It had been considered to ship as ICLE and I had jumped to the conclusion that some documentation had gone out that way.
