HP SIM (or insight control) customization and integration with NAGIOS

A customer is asking these 2 questions:

How can one link custom scripts in HP SIM so that when the script reports an error then the target machine is flagged on the dashboard
What are the integration interfaces e.g. with RH-LINUX/ Nagios or other NAGIOS Monitoring solutions?

While Insight Control is integrated with Nagios (see

Hi,

Just to make sure I understand the request, this customer is running Insight Control for Linux, correct? Do you know which version of IC-Linux?

Is this customer looking for information on how to hook in their own Nagios plug-ins into the IC-Linux Nagios infrastructure?
