SLES 9 requires A.11.16. It will be available next month (February). If you have a support contract, you usually can get the updated software for no additional cost.

If you were told about a December date then you were told about the possibility of early access by your salesperson. If you need immediate access, talk to your salesperson.

The Configuration Guide (ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/solutions/enterprise/ha/linux/svcguard-config.pdf) and the Certification Matrix (ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/solutions/enterprise/ha/linux/svcguard-certmatrix.pdf) will be updated when it is released. Remember to refresh your browser for the Certification Matrix.

A shortcut to Serviceguard for Linux information on the HP Website is http://www.hp.com/go/sglx

I guess with HP staff saying it is going to be next month you can have confidence. If there is a delay, it would be for valid Q & A reasons.

I did a hands on class with SG at HP World Chicago. Very nice, just as easy to use as the HP-UX version. Worth the wait.

SEP
