Hello,

I am looking for a support matrix, working solution for Linux (Redhat) on a rx1600 with a shared scsi box. I am only finding a support matrix for shared fiber storage.

Thx

Shared SCSI is not supported with Integrity Servers. The MSA500 family is supported with Proliants but it does not have support for Integrity.

The MD driver provides SW RAID1 but it is not designed for clusters. In a cluster, with a failover, MD will generally remirror all shared LUNs (and the remirror is for the entire LUN) that are failed over. For most customers, this is not likely to be acceptable.
