HP Notebook System BIOS Update .. what about Linux?

Like title suggest, the question is what about Linux and the BIOS Update VERSION: F.50 REV: A PASS: 1???

Can I update my bios without any problem with recognizing of the several Operative Systems in hard disk?

Please, asking here because no one seems to know, and maybe this is the more reliable place.

BIOS updates should not interfere with the OS installed on the hardware.

And with a notebook it should not be different. Just make sure you read any readme docs or instructions first.
