HP Probook 4440s BIOS Update on Linux

Hi,

As my title states, I would like to know how to update the BIOS of my HP Probook 4440s Laptop from Linux.

Currently the bios update available for Windows is version F.50 [1], while for Linux is F.01 [2].

How can I get the latest firmware update for Linux?

hello, it seems there is no newer linux version. My recomendation is to try boot live windows cd and try update within it. Check for example Hiren's boot cd at http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/

Thx for the idea, I did not know Hiren's boot cd could run Windows programs, will try it.
