Diagnosing memory utilization issues can be quite complex, ranging from real defects, configuration problems, to mere misunderstanding of the Linux memory management system. This can be a lengthy and intensive process, that is probably best handled in a formal support case with your support provider rather than in a community forum. There is usually no simple answer to 'what is consuming my memory over time', but some very general tips I could give you to resolving such issues are:

- be very specific in descriptions of what is changing, when it changes, and trends

- have excellent change management procedures in place to track every change you make to the environment in pursuit of this issue

- discipline to perform tests and measurements accurately, recording the time, date, observations and the change made

SUSE maintains a library of documentation that is quite useful. One place to start is this document:

https://documentation.suse.com/sbp/all/html/SBP-performance-tuning/index.html

There are several documents about best practicies that are specific to Hana environments .

https://documentation.suse.com/sles-sap/15-SP1/
