Dear Linux users,

If interested with, here is a paper on authenticating OpenLDAP as well as Microsoft Active Directory users. The described steps are a mere French to English translation of a Linagora's company document in French. Although written in 2008, this Linagora's document remains still valid.

All the steps have proved successful on Linux Fedora 17 and are currently used in a Shrew/Windows + Openswan/Linux configuration.
