    <description>In general You would have to put the shell script with other check_* plugins and define a new service in Nagios. &lt;BR /&gt;Nagios docs could help You with that a lot: &lt;A href="http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/toc.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://nagios.sourceforge.net/docs/3_0/toc.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sub-sections on "The Basics-&amp;gt;Plugins" and "Nagios Addons-&amp;gt;NRPE/NSCA" [if checking remotely] should cover it.</description>
