Yes. But not all HP functionally will work.

What it mean exactly? And actually i always get this problem that the server cant download forexample the kernel.. but i have an internet connection...

You probably cant get all HP software running. HP SMH, ACU, drivers etc. So you might be better of using centos.

Debian is in no way a Red Hat clone. Never has been.

According to http://wiki.debian.org/HP/ProLiant shoul will work.

You may also consider using at least some parts of software available at https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T8570AAE
It's listed as for Debian 4, I know, but it should work ok.
