Hi buddies,
I have a query regarding Linux debian XEN virtualization through, the issue is that we as a Data Protector backup software 6.0, but when we try to make the installation of the agent it does not respond, let me know if Data Protector is supported by Xen.

Thanks a Lot

Shalom,

Far as I know, DP will work in virtualized Linux if the following criteria is met.

1) The distribution is supported by the DP server. That refers to the guest distribution.

2) If memory and licensing requirements are met.

The agent should install just like a physical system.

Check that the guest OS supported. If so, check the system log, probably /var/log/messages and any logs DP keeps on the server.

SEP
