    <description>Hi, I need to know what is the maximum number of LDEVs (or luns) I can assign to my linux box.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I´ve a Bl460 with two Qlogics QMH2462 connected to two port of the XP24000 and multipath/device-mapper configured.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can I attach more than 256 luns?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advanced.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>256 Luns can be added.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It purly depend on the size of LUNs that you are going to present to the host, since that will affect the performance.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi Friend,&lt;BR /&gt;when I added some LUN from my storage MSA1500 to the linux redhat3 the max luns that the linux accepte is 8 per FC port.&lt;BR /&gt;I hope that this information help you.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
