Make sure the old mysql lib's are no longer in your LD search path, then make sure /home/mysql/lib/mysql is (modify /etc/ld.so.conf, add that directory, and then run 'ldconfig').<BR /><BR />Then try again. The errors seem to state that it simply can't find some library calls.
