Use the following - go to the EFI Boot Manager menu, use Boot Option Maintenance Menu and select VGA as the Primary Console...

This should solve the problem.

regards,
ivan
I'm trying to install SLES 10 SP2. When I start up the Integrity rx1620 machine and try to boot from the DVD it says it can't find the DVD. If I go into the EFI prompt I can run \efi\boot\bootia64.efi, and the installation starts but only gets as far as printing

Loading initrd ...done.

After this nothing else happens. Any suggestions? Could it be that the boot loader can't read the UDF format of the DVD?

Thanks for your answer. EFI 1.10 is on the machine, so the options weren't the same as you described. In the end I changed a boot option in the Linux installer program (vga=standard), but it helped to know that the problem had something to do with the display of the output.
