    <description>By BIOS setting automation, do you mean you do not want to into the BIOS to make changes or reboot?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On most systems, you can select the boot device by pressing a certain key when the BIOS splash screen is displayed. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For e.g. F1 &lt;SETUP&gt;, F2 &lt;BOOT device=""&gt;, F12 &lt;NETWORK&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;NVIDIA is coming up with a utility for configure many performance settings including BIOS settings from within windows.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.nvidia.com/object/sysutility.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Haven't seen any others resorting to these techniques yet, but we may see a lot of advancements in BIOS soon in the future. :)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/NETWORK&gt;&lt;/BOOT&gt;&lt;/SETUP&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a simple way to automate System BIOS changes. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i have a Intel Pentium 4 box installed with Linux. some times i have to boot from network. i'm looking for a simple way to automate selecting boot device priority in system BIOS. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-C</description>

      <description>Hi, &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks for the response. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i wanted to use perl or some scripting tool to automate bios settings. using the tool i should be able to change the boot order in the BIOS.</description>
