Shalom,

While not speaking for HP, my experience is major OS releases get driver support within 30-90 days.

When planning an installation, its a good idea to checke these detail ahead of time.

You could however get going now by installing a Smart RAID card in the DL320 server.

This would get you up and running immediatley, with hardware raid and better performance as well.

SEP

We have HP ProLiant DL320 G5 Server with SLES SP1 OS without Embeded SATA RAID (disabled in BIOS). After we attach second HDD and enabled SATA RAID in BIOS the OS hangup :( After learninig this problem, i saw that on HP Driver Download Centre has only HP Embedded SATA RAID Controller Driver for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (x86)version 1.2.5571-5 (15 Mar 07)
The kernels of SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10 (x86) supported by this binary rpm are: 2.6.16.21-0.8 SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 10.
But my SLES SP1 have kernel 2.6.16.53-0.16 and i don't install driver in kernel. When will appear on HP Emb. SATA driver for SLES SP1 for kernel 2.6.16.53-0.16?
