I've tried the hp_rescan -a on Red Hat Linux 4 on a Bl25p but cannot see the new devices on the host.<BR />Running the "cat /proc/scsi/qla2xxx/0 shows the (Id:Lun) * - indicates lun is not registered with the OS message". I've also tried the echo "---"&gt;/sys/class/scsi_host/host0/scan but still cannot see the devices. How do I get the linux to see without a reboot?

Have you tried running /opt/hp/hp_fibreutils/probe-luns -a before hp_rescan?
