topic Hal issue in Operating System - Linux

What could be going on when hal seems to properly mount a usb disk drive? The umask.fdi file seems to be correct: '/etc/fstab' seems to be correct. But when you execute 'df -k /media/<DRIVE id="">' it does not return '/dev/sda1'. Instead it returns '/dev/cciss/c0t0p2'. Thus, the usb drive is not properly mounted. Additionally, the drive has permissions of 755, when they should be 777 as defined in the '/usr/share/hal/fdi/95userpolicy/umask.fdi' file.<BR /><BR />This drive mounts correctly on other servers that were all built from the same kickstart server.</DRIVE>
