      <description>I don't have access to one of these, so can you give us an output of 'lspci' ?  It'll tell us what video chipset is in use.</description>

      <description>It looks like it is using the vesa driver right now.  It could use the mga driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There was a rather recent patch that added the mapping of that pci id to the mga driver.  Perhaps this system was originally installed with a pre-feisty version of pci id mapping which didn't configure the mga driver for that device.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-patches/2007-May/007564.html" target="_blank"&gt;https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-patches/2007-May/007564.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  You can look in /etc/X11/xorg.conf and try changing vesa to mga.  You could also check in xorg.conf to make sure that the Modes lines include "1280x1024" and/or "1024x768" sizes.</description>
