      <description>Iam using RedHat advanced server 2.1. When i use df command it  reports filesystem disk space usage and then it hangs. it is not comming again to the root prompt.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All my other command works fine..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Kindly help&lt;BR /&gt;Jagadesh</description>

      <description>It could be because of the "bad" file system/hard drive&lt;BR /&gt;Try to fsck the partition that you've used the "df" command on.</description>
