Hi all, is there a free tool out there that does the very same thing as glance. We are very tight on budget and can't afford any money on purchasing anything at this point. I have looked at nagious but not too sure about that. I'm looking for something short and simple like glance. Any help is greatly appreciated and points will be assigned.

Its called sar. It comes with the OS.

Also Gnome has gtop which is pretty good.

I'm attaching a hpux script that WILL require some modification, but it will collect performance data.

SEP

I would also like a good tool like Glance, and free is also nice in the mean time I use a set of tools

sar, lsof, top, netstat,df,iptraf and monitor the /proc dir
plus often use ps -efww no to mention the tree command

I have glued theses in a set sh scripts to suite my need's

But this does not make nice print-out for show .. but I manage, still would be nice to have a free Glance for linux...

J-P
