    <description>Shalom shahid,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To be of assistance, I'd have to know what kind of hardware we are dealing with.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its likely on modern hardware that the graphics are unknown to the OS and graphics mode won't work. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There are workarounds from the various hardware vendors on these issues.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt; I am using RHEL  AS v 2.4.21-4.EL. when i put startx or init5 it shows:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Fatal server error&lt;BR /&gt;could not open default  font 'fixed'&lt;BR /&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;X10: Fatal I0 error 104 ( Connection reset by Per) on Xserver ":0.0" &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have already changed /etc/X11/XF68config file with resulation size.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can i go to graphics mode &lt;BR /&gt;Please help me&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards &lt;BR /&gt;shahid&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>A message "Fatal server error: could not open default font 'fixed'" seems to suggest that the required X font packages are not installed, or your font path in the /etc/X11/XF86Config file is incorrect.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't intend to store the X fonts locally, it might be that your font server is not responding.</description>
