      <description>Is there any command to know if hyperthreading is supported or not on a specific OS?&lt;BR /&gt;Also, if it is supported then how can I enble/disable it?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The kernel supports hyperthreading on most modern distributions of Linux.  The way to test it is with a simple test application.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You may see some evidence of the existance of support in the boot sequence for /var/log/messages.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
