    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;during the configuration of the CRS, i have been asked to exucute root.sh  scripton both nodes when executing from node 1 i received this error message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;linux1:/u01/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/crs_1 # root.sh&lt;BR /&gt;bash: root.sh: command not found&lt;BR /&gt;linux1:/u01/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/crs_1 # ./root.sh&lt;BR /&gt;Running Oracle10 root.sh script...&lt;BR /&gt;\nThe following environment variables are set as:&lt;BR /&gt;    ORACLE_OWNER= oracle&lt;BR /&gt;    ORACLE_HOME=  /u01/app/oracle/product/10.1.0/crs_1&lt;BR /&gt;Finished running generic part of root.sh script.&lt;BR /&gt;Now product-specific root actions will be performed.&lt;BR /&gt;Checking to see if Oracle CRS stack is already up...&lt;BR /&gt;/etc/oracle does not exist.       <description>I think it just means you should run the sh command while logged in as root. The root would be part of the command line prompt. The command would be &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;sh whatever&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My guess &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Vern</description>
