Hello all,

I want to present the RHCE exam, but I know RHEL 3, and the exam is updated to RHEL 4. Is there any big difference between them, and I'll be thankfull for any documents.

The major things in 4 vs 3 are:
1.Introduction to selinux (security enhanced)
2.kernel 2.6 instead of 2.4
3.redhat-config commands were replaced with system-config....

As for selinux -I think they left it for RHCA.

Shalom ziad,

If you are experienced on RH 3.x you are nearly fully prepared for a test based on 4.0.

selinux and gfs are the big differences, there are good docs on the redhat site for that. Clustering is different too.

over 90% of what you know is still good.

Alexander are you sure selinux is for RHCA, and not included in RHCE exam?
