    <description>I have the following problem:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;my OS is linux OPENSUSE 10.0 &lt;BR /&gt;and during the startup I get a lot of POWERSAVE  ERRORS:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse rcpowersaved: CPU frequency scaling is not supported by your processor.&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse rcpowersaved: enter 'CPUFREQD_MODULE=off' in /etc/sysconfig/powersave/cpufreq to avoid this warning.&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse rcpowersaved: Cannot load cpufreq governors - No cpufreq driver available&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse [powersave]: ERROR (CPUFreq_Kernel:21) Can not set ondemand governor, maybe your cpufreq driver is too slow.&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse [powersave]: ERROR (CPUFreq_Kernel:23) Try CPUFREQ_CONTROL=userspace in /etc/sysconfig/powersave/cpufreq.&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse [powersave]: ERROR (PM_Interface:231) Cannot create cpufreq objects&lt;BR /&gt;Mar 17 15:42:40 suse SuSEfirewall2: Warning: ip6tables does not support state matching.       <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What hardware are you using, usually you will get the info on whether the HW has powersave utility fron the BIOS itself&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers</description>

      <description>I've done the BIOS update, but it doesn't help !&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;my Power Management BIOS settings are:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ACPI AWARE O/S                   YES&lt;BR /&gt;POWER MANAGEMENT                 ENABLED&lt;BR /&gt;SUSPEND TIME OUT (MIN.)          DISABLED&lt;BR /&gt;HARD DISK TIME OUT (MIN.)        DISABLED&lt;BR /&gt;PWR BUTTON &amp;lt; 4 SEC               INSTANT OFF&lt;BR /&gt;RESTORE ON AC/POWER LOSS         POWER OFF&lt;BR /&gt;RESUME ON RTC ALARM              DISABLED&lt;BR /&gt;RTC ALARM DATE                   15&lt;BR /&gt;RTC ALARM HOUR                   12&lt;BR /&gt;RTC ALARM MINUTE                 30&lt;BR /&gt;RTC ALARM SECOND                 30&lt;BR /&gt;LAN / RING POWER ON              DISABLED&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it could be something wrong ?</description>
