    <description>you can use windows drivers also. you'll need ndiswrapper. You can install it via yast.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;after it in shell:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ndiswrapper -i filename.inf &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;filename should be a file like bcmwl5a.inf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ndiswrapper -l show you driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;after that load it:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# ndiswrapper -m&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;goto yast&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;in wireless card's configuration  write ndiswrapper to the module name. and do other settings.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if there are other cards deactivate them as&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ifconfig eth0 down&lt;BR /&gt;that'all.</description>

      <description>Dear Linux community,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i'm very new within this Linux environment.&lt;BR /&gt;At least i got me Laptop running with OpenSUSE 10.0.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unfortunately the WLAN isn't detected.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Which step is missing ?&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a WLAN driver available from HP ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks, for your help,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Herbert</description>

      <description>Hi Herbert , You laptop has an intel PRO Wireless card&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Drivers for Linux Can be found here&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/" target="_blank"&gt;http://ipw2200.sourceforge.net/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To test the functionality download knoppix a linux Live CD from &lt;A href="http://www.knoppix.org" target="_blank"&gt;www.knoppix.org&lt;/A&gt; , This already has the drivers setup&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this Helps</description>
