rh3 update 1 and 0, and redhat 4 update 0-3 all fail at the install of the cciss or at least freeze. rh3 update 4 installs fine, i have tried using a driver disc and it gets past that bit but does not give me any discs any ideas? I am really looking to install rh4!

OK, if I remember right, then the 5i is fully supported at rhel3u3 and rhel4u1 (and probably supported before that).

have you updated the firmware on your 5i and you drives?
