thinkjet 2225c driver info for Linux, win98, winxp

I have this beautiful printer that I can not find a way to use.... Linux does not directly support. Is there another printer setting that I can choose in any of these OSes that will run the ThinkJet 2225c+? Can I chose a generic pin printer????since it is from that era?
