Hi Harald,

HP does not oficialy support SuSe 9.1 on ML 110, it only supports SuSe Enterprise.

Here you can find all drivers for suse enterprise, if everything fails I guess you may try use those drivers with your suse 9.1.

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locOsCat/1110.html

But, if you can, by a copy of SLES 9 to be fully compatible.

Regards,
Xyko

If Suse does not support SATA off the boot cd's then you have a few paltry choices:

1) You can get a disk preparation cd from HP, boot off that and prepare the disks. This will include drivers for SATA and Suse if such drivers exist.

2) Punt and find a distribution that supports the hardware at boot.

SATA is pretty new and support isn't complete right now.

SEP

Suse 9.1 uses a 2.6 kernel and should support all current commonly used SATA controllers.

Regards,
Sergejs
