Hi,
I recommend you build-in qlogic failover with SanSurfer because there is much more flexibility with kernel version and of course it is free solution.

Hi All,

we are running 2 x QLogic QLA2312 HBAs in a DL585 connected to a HDS 9980. i have configured the cards to run in failover mode.

my question is, to achieve load balancing aswell should we look to SecurePath or using SanSurfer to configure the cards directly?

I am using the latest HP HBA drivers and would like pros/cons for each option.

TIA
