I installed RHEL4 AMD64, update 1 on a DL145G2. Install was normal, but during patch installs and subsequent testing, I received:
=============
EXT3-fs error (device dm-0) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted
EXT3-fs error (device dm-0) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted
scsi0 (0:0): rejecting I/O to offline device
scsi0 (0:0): rejecting I/O to offline device
EXT3-fs error (device dm-0) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted
EXT3-fs error (device dm-0) in start_transaction: Journal has aborted
=====================
This made files "disapear" or become no read permisions. I removed what i thought was the offending drive (2 drives were factory pre-raided") and re-installed. System was more stable, but eventually got the same problem.
Re-installed RHEL4 (base, no update 4, did not apply any kernel patches, keeping rev to 2.6.9-5. System has now been up 6 days with no problems (still on 1 disk)

I notice there are RHEL4 RAID/disk drivers from HP on this site, but nothing listed for the DL145. What is the proper set of drivers/versions for RHEL4?
thanks,
Rod
