    <description>The server it's self should work fine with Linux, as all of the onboard controllers should be supported 'out of the box'.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;However, that fibre HBA (FCA-2101) doesn't appear to have any drivers for linux, so it won't work in Linux.</description>

      <description>You might find a version or flavor or red hat that works.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just because HP didn't certify it does not mean it will NOT work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But you need to know your hardware, NIC and especially video and disk subsystems and see that they are supported and relatively standard.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then try it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would not bother trying this on a system that you need to rely on. If its going to do production work, you are much better off with certified hardware.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you are learning or experimenting, I believe you should give it a try.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
