    <description>Ubunto is a Linux Distribution that seems to have gotten the hardware right. Its the best I've seen ad dealing with hardware situations.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can you explain what the problems are so that someone can assist you?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is the modem non-functional?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Perhaps &lt;A href="http://www.linmodems.org/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.linmodems.org/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>my customer order me a laptop with ubuntu preinstalled; my choice is hp but I'm surely to work at all, especially modem 56k (brand?) and chipset (nvidia geforce 3 go 150). Someone have experience with this chipset/hp model/linux installation?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Silvio.</description>

      <description>check &lt;A href="http://www.linux-laptop.net/" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.linux-laptop.net/&lt;/A&gt; for user's reports/tips.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have pretty good experience with linux on IBM Thinkpads. The only problematic hw I see it's WIFI adapter.</description>
