I don't have that model myself, but I do have
an HP laptop.

I've tried Mandriva 2005 with limited success,
and SUSE 9.3 with somewhat better results.

I've heard good things about Ubuntu, and
will try it soon.

Here are some links that might be useful:
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/linux/index.html
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/linux/products/clients/nc6220-cert.html

Hope this helps,
Paul.

Use the latest available ! Some of them :
Debian Sarge
Mandriva 2006 will come in few weeks (RC2 for now)
Fedora Core 4
SuSE 9.3
Ubuntu
If you are not afraid of compiling, you can try Gentoo.

Good luck !

Define "support". If you mean supported by HP, I think they only support the 8000 series. If you mean "will it run?" then take a look at tuxmobil.org.

Although I don't see it there, you might be lucky by looking at something similar.

-p

THANKS for reply . That Novell Linux is good enough for that computer and I'm really satisfied. It even let me set the bios password and has no problems to be install together with Win Xp on the same machine.
